Most of today has been spent trying to market the online social media course. I’ve written a guest blog post and contacted a whole load of other relevant blogs and sites, asking nicely if I can write something for them or give away a couple of course places as a competition prize.
I’ve had a couple of approaches today from interested would-be students, so fingers-crossed. I’ve been feeling a bit apprehensive about the course as it’s the first one I have ever compiled, but I realised today, that I can continue to modify and update it, which I will once I get feedback through.
I hope this shows my students that I am committed to giving them good value for money, because I am.
I’m still feeling very thrilled at being one of the top 5 in the online writing course, but the bubble deflated somewhat when I signed up for the latest one, only to find my user name has been changed and I have no access to the forum.
I have another BAD breakfast tomorrow – I had one this morning too and it was unusually tough. I couldn’t stop yawning, but I put this down to the fact that we had a presentation on mortgages and pensions.
I haven’t written since Sunday, so I think I’m going to have to form a habit. It’s easy to write at the weekends, but work tends to take over during the week. I think perhaps a 5am start for two days a week might be the answer. This is all very tough on someone who loves their sleep – or is shut eye for sadasses?
The only way is up!
